Historical Perspective:

Robert Ryan Management Consultancy (RRMC) was retained by two private investors to identify a company they could purchase and operate. This resulted in the purchase of S&A Distributing Corp., a successful $3 million business specializing in the wholesale distribution of muffler and other undercar products.

In addition to the acquisition aspects of this assignment, RRMC arranged a $500,000 bank line of credit to meet the new company’s working capital needs and strategized with the new owners as to how to grow their existing business. 

Current Status:

Since the time of its purchase, S&A Distributing Corp. has opened six satellite distribution locations in Boston, Worcester, and Springfield. Its annual sales are now in excess of $12 million. S&A Distributing Corp. has annually increased its profitability and is comfortably meeting both owners’ profit expectations.
